Zac's Awards and Gracie's "real" birthday
Today was the Awards Assembly for 1st - 5th grade. Zac received the Super Citizen Award, an Honor Roll trophy (all A's all year), and the Reading Award for making his reading goal each nine weeks. After the assembly I went over to Gracie's class to celebrate her birthday with her classmates.

Gracie and Jacob's 6th Birthday Party
The big bash this year for Gracie and Jacob was at St. George Island State Park. We rented a pavillion for the day, grilled burgers and hotdogs, enjoyed cookie-cake, and played in the sun and sand with our friends and family. The weather was perfect and the water was nice, it was a great place to party. Thank you to everyone who drove the distance to celebrate with us.

Zac's last baseball game of the season!
Tuesday night marked the last game of the season for Zac. We started the season with pitching machine and ended with player pitch. Next year he will move up to the Cal Ripken League. Zac was sad that baseball was ending, but now it's time for tennis and/or swim lessons.

Gracie on the bars!
Here is a video (poor quality) of Gracie on the bars. The bars are her favorite event! She went too fast her first time up and she had to start over, but she did great.
Gracie's floor routine
On Saturday Gracie had her spring fling for gymanstics (kind of like a recital). I have attached the video of her floor routine. Starting in September she will be competing!
Wakulla Springs 5K
Wes and Zac ran their first 5K on Saturday! Our friends Brooke and Jason also ran their first race. At the race our good friends the Cardozas were there, they actually ran this race last year. Their son Justin placed in the one mile for the second year in a row! It was nice for the race to be a family and friends event. Because the race was local we ran into a lot of people!

Gracie's fieldtrip to the capitol buildings!
I was so excited to get to attend Gracie's fieldtrip! It was actually fun hanging out with 40 kindergartners!

Mother's Day Tea Party
The kindergartners at Gracie's school put on a great show for the mothers today. Gracie was very excited to dress up and get on stage! Mrs. Kelly started the presentation by reading, "Love You Forever." It was a great book. The kids sang very cute songs like: I am bringing home a baby bumble bee, Florida Alphabet, My mother is baker, Kindergartners growing in the garden, among others. After the show and slideshow we went back to the classroom for refreshments and presents. I didn't think that I would tear up, but I definitely did.

Wil and Elsie's Party
For the weekend of April 24th we traveled to Gainesville to Wil and Elsie's party at their neighborhood park. We hung out there most of the afternoon and enjoyed great food and we got to meet a lot of Wil and Elsie's friends. Unfortunately we missed the "family" party the weekend before, but we enjoyed the one on one time with the "Gators."
